What is Music Transcription Software?
Music Transcription Software is used in the process of notating a piece of music or sound into notes and symbols to put it into written form. The act of putting recorded sound into notation is known as creating a musical transcription.
Music transcription software can also be used to rewrite a piece of music. For example, this could mean turning the same piece of music or set of notes into notation used for the piano, guitar, and violin. Some transcriptions are designed to remain as close to the original adaptation as possible while others are meant to create an arrangement for purposes of altering its key (e.g., major, minor), duration, for simplicity (or difficulty), artistic flair, and so on.
Software solutions help streamline this process.
